  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (VEHICLE APPROACHING SPEAKER CONTROLLER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the vehicle approaching speaker controller connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T55-7 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      T55-1 (IG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DLC3 - VEHICLE APPROACHING SPEAKER CONTROLLER AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the T55 vehicle approaching speaker controller connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N20-7 (SIL) - T55-9 (PRST) Always Below 1 Ω
      N20-4 (CG) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      N20-7 (SIL) or T55-9 (PRST) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
