ADAPTIVE VARIABLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:U0101, U0122, U0124, U0126, U0130, U0293

DTC Code DTC Name
U0101 Lost Communication with TCM
U0122 Lost Communication with Vehicle Dynamics Control Module
U0124 Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module
U0126 Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module
U0130 Lost Communication with VGRS
U0293 Lost Communication with Hybrid Control Module

DESCRIPTION

The absorber control ECU receives signals from the skid control ECU assembly, the steering sensor, the yaw rate sensor, the ECM, front steering control ECU and power management control ECU via CAN communication. When DTCs indicating a CAN communication system malfunction are output, repair the CAN communication system first.

DTC Code Detection Condition Trouble Area
U0101 While driving at 30 km/h (19 mph), CAN communication from the ECM stops for 6 seconds or more.
  • ECM

  • CAN communication system

  • Absorber control ECU

U0122 CAN communication from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) stops for 3 seconds or more.
  • Skid control ECU assembly

  • CAN communication system

  • Absorber control ECU

U0124 CAN communication from the yaw rate sensor stops for 3 seconds or more.
  • Yaw rate sensor

  • CAN communication system

  • Absorber control ECU

U0126 CAN communication from the steering sensor stops for 3 seconds or more.
  • Steering sensor

  • CAN communication system

  • Absorber control ECU

U0130 After the power switch is turned on (IG) and 5 seconds elapse, CAN communication from the front steering control ECU stops for 3 seconds or more.
  • Front steering control ECU

  • CAN communication system

  • Absorber control ECU

U0293 While driving at 30 km/h (19 mph), CAN communication from the power management control ECU stops for 3 seconds or more.
  • Power management control ECU

  • CAN communication system

  • Absorber control ECU

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

  • Before performing troubleshooting, inspect the connectors of related circuits.

  • If DTC C1782 (Power Source Voltage Malfunction) is output at the same time, perform troubleshooting for C1782 first Click here.

  • Before replacing the absorber control ECU, perform all of the following again: 1) symptom simulation (See page ); 2) DTC inspection (See page ); and 3) GTS inspection (ECU Data List or Active Test Click here. If no malfunctions are found in other areas, replace the absorber control ECU.

  • When the absorber control ECU is replaced, switch to test mode and check that all test mode DTCs are cleared when their respective deletion conditions are met Click here.

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK FOR DTC

    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Turn the power switch off.

    3. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 30 km/h (19 mph) or more for 10 seconds or more.

    4. Check for DTCs Click here.
