Tech Tips

"Back door" refers to the luggage compartment door.

DTC B2250 is output if the closer pulse sensor of the luggage compartment door closer has a malfunction, and the luggage door closer operation does not complete within the specified time.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the U33 luggage closer motor connector.

    2. Disconnect the a9 luggage compartment door lock connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      U33-16 (CSG) - a9- 4 (CPSE) Always Below 1 Ω
      U33-17 (CS2) - a9- 9 (CPS2) Always Below 1 Ω
      U33-18 (CS1) - a9- 2 (CSP1) Always Below 1 Ω
      U33-19 (CSV) - a9- 3 (CPS+) Always Below 1 Ω
      U33-16 (CSG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U33-17 (CS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U33-18 (CS1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U33-19 (CSV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  4. REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily replace the luggage compartment door lock with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

  6. CHECK (MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the U68 multiplex network door ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the a9 luggage compartment door lock connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      U68-9 (CSG) - a9- 4 (CPSE) Always Below 1 Ω
      U68-17 (CS2) - a9- 9 (CPS2) Always Below 1 Ω
      U68-5 (CS1) - a9- 2 (CSP1) Always Below 1 Ω
      U68-4 (CSV) - a9- 3 (CPS+) Always Below 1 Ω
      U68-9 (CSG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U68-17 (CS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U68-5 (CS1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U68-4 (CSV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
