DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when the headlight ECU sub-assembly detects errors in its own communication with the headlight swivel motor.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      C-4 - O-2 Always Below 1 Ω

  4. CHECK HEADLIGHT SWIVEL MOTOR LH


    1. Temporarily replace the headlight swivel motor LH with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH - HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH)


    1. Disconnect the B16 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the B15 headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      B16-19 (LINS) - B15-19 (LINS) Always Below 1 Ω
      B16-19 (LINS) or B15-19 (LINS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  6. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT RH
