BATTERY SMART UNIT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE HYBRID BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Remove the hybrid junction block assembly Click here.

2. REMOVE BATTERY SMART UNIT

   

   CAUTION:

   Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

   
   

   1. Disconnect the 3 connectors from the battery smart unit.

   2. Remove the nut and battery smart unit.

      Note

      Insulate the connectors of the removed high voltage wires with insulating tape.
