  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY


    1. B001I58

      Align the claw with the anchor plate positioning hole, and install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      First install the lower bolt, and then install the upper bolt.

  2. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    Note

    When installing the retractor, make sure the claws of the vehicle (labeled "a" in the illustration) only contact the installation areas of the retractor.


    1. Align the seat belt retractor positioning holes with the claws of the vehicle.

    2. Install the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Tech Tips

      First install bolt A, and then install bolt B.

      Torque:
      for bolt A
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }
      for bolt B
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    3. Install the shoulder anchor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for 60/40 Split Double-folding Seat Type LH Side)

  4. INSTALL FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

  5. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH


    1. w/o Rear No. 2 Seat, w/o Rear Air Conditioning System:


      1. Pass the rear seatback lock control lever base through the deck trim side panel assembly LH.

      2. Attach the 5 clips and 8 claws to install the deck trim side panel assembly LH.

      3. Install the 4 bolts and 2 screws.

      4. Attach the 6 claws and 2 guides to install the rear seatback lock control lever base to the deck trim side panel assembly LH.

      5. Install the floor anchor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. w/o Rear No. 2 Seat, w/ Rear Air Conditioning System:


      1. Attach the 5 clips and 8 claws to install the deck trim side panel assembly LH.

      2. Install the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

      3. Install the floor anchor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    3. w/ Rear No. 2 Seat:


      1. Attach the 4 clips and 8 claws to install the deck trim side panel assembly LH.

      2. Install the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

      3. Install the floor anchor of the rear No. 2 seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      4. Install the floor anchor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)

  8. INSTALL FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER LH (w/ Tonneau Cover)
