THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER LOWER

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

      Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the intake mass air flow meter connector.

      Detach the 4 clamps.

    3. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with air cleaner hose.

  5. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR

      Disconnect the air pressure sensor connector.

    2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the air pressure sensor.

    3. Detach the wire harness and vacuum hose from the intake air connector.

      Disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose.

    5. A01XDF4

      Disconnect the vacuum hose.

    6. A01XHQ4

      Loosen the hose clamp.

    7. Remove the 3 bolts and intake air connector.

  6. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01XMPH

      Slide the clip and disconnect the water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.

    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.

    3. Disconnect the throttle body with motor connector.

      Remove the 4 bolts and throttle body with motor assembly.

      Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
