DESCRIPTION

The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) sends the remote engine starter ID to the remote engine starter ECU through the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the CAN and BERKES communication line. Then, the remote engine starter ECU certifies the ID code and sends the result to the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly). When the remote engine starter ECU does not receive the remote engine starter ID from the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly), this DTC is stored.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Clear the DTC Click here.

    2. Perform the remote engine start operation.

    3. Check for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC B2779 and B126A are not output.

    GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART Click here

  2. REPLACE REMOTE ENGINE STARTER ECU


    1. Temporarily replace the remote engine starter ECU with a new one Click here.

  3. REGISTER REMOTE ENGINE STARTER ID


    1. Register the remote engine starter ID Click here.

  4. CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Clear the DTC Click here.
