DESCRIPTION

The combination meter communicates with the ECM via the CAN line.

U0100 When the vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more and IG voltage is 10.5 V or more while no communication with the ECM continues for 3 seconds or more (no communication with the ECM or skid control ECU continues for 60 seconds or more). CAN communication system

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs Click here.

      CAN communication system (for LHD) DTC is output B
      CAN communication system (for RHD) DTC is output C

      Tech Tips

      If CAN communication system DTC U0100 and another DTC are output at the same time, perform troubleshooting for CAN communication system DTC U0100 first.
