DESCRIPTION

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1268 The skid control ECU receives an L4 abnormal status signal from the four wheel drive control ECU via CAN communication for 2 seconds or more.

  • Skid control ECU (Master cylinder solenoid)

Note

After replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration and store the system information Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT TRANSFER L4 SHIFT


    1. Shift the transfer to L4, and then drive the vehicle and check that there are no problems with the transfer system.

      OK
      There are no problems with the transfer system.

    NG

    GO TO TRANSFER SYSTEM (PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE) Click here

  2. RECONFIRM DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Turn the ignition switch off.

    3. Shift the transfer to L4, drive the vehicle, and then check for DTCs Click here.
