DESCRIPTION

DTC B1249 is stored when communication between the double lock door control relay assembly and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stops for more than 10 seconds.

Note


  • When using the GTS with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:

    Connect the GTS to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the GTS and vehicle begins.

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

DTC B2325 is output when the communication between all of the following components and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stops.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DOUBLE LOCK CONTROL RELAY ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU [MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU]


    1. Disconnect the A main body ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the E167 double lock control relay connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-16 (LIN2) - E167-9 (MPX1) Always Below 1 Ω
      A-16 (LIN2) or E167-9 (MPX1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Disconnect the E167 double lock control relay connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E167-7 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E167-11 (CPUB) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      E167-12 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

  5. REPLACE DOUBLE LOCK DOOR CONTROL RELAY ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily replace the double lock door control relay with a new or normally functioning one (See page )*1, Click here*2.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    1. Disconnect the 2J cowl side junction block LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the E167 double lock door control relay connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the tables below.

      Standard Resistance

      2J-13 - E167-9 (MPX1) Always Below 1 Ω
      2J-13 or E167-9 (MPX1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
