DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when LIN communication between the front power window regulator motor LH*1 (RH*2) and main body ECU (cowl side junction block LH) stops for 10 seconds or more.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

When using the intelligent tester with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:

Connect the intelligent tester to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the intelligent tester and vehicle begins.

DTC B2325 is stored when the communication between the front power window regulator motor and main body ECU (cowl side junction block LH) stops.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR)

    1. Disconnect the E3 ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the I12*1 or I4*2 motor connector.

      Tech Tips


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E3-10 (LIN2) - I12-9 (LIN)*1 or I4-9 (LIN)*2 Always Below 1 Ω

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  4. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (BATTERY VOLTAGE AND BODY GROUND)


    1. A01X23JE01

      Disconnect the I12*1 or I4*2 motor connector.

      Tech Tips


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the tables below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I12-1 (GND)*1 or I4-1 (GND)*2 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I12-2 (B)*1 or I4-2 (B)*2 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  5. REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporarily replace the front power window regulator motor LH*1 or RH*2 with a new or normally functioning one Click here.
