FRONT CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL


    1. Apply engine oil to the lip of a new oil seal.

    2. A01XAPOE02

      Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal as shown in the illustration.

      Standard depth A
      0.6 to 1.4 mm (0.0236 to 0.0551 in.)

      Note

      Make sure that the lip of the oil seal is properly installed.
