CANISTER(w/ Secondary Air Injection System) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FUEL TANK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Active Height Control)

  2. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY


    1. for Type A:


      1. A01X9MY

        Slide the clamp and disconnect the air inlet line hose.

      2. A01X6HC

        Slide the 2 clamps and disconnect the vent line hose and purge line hose.

      3. A01X0NL

        Remove the 3 bolts and charcoal canister assembly.

      4. disconnect the hose and remove the 2 fuel hose clamps from the charcoal canister assembly.

      5. Slide the clamp and remove the purge line hose from the charcoal canister assembly.

      6. Slide the clamp and remove the vent line hose from the charcoal canister assembly.

    2. for Type B:


      1. A01X80D

        Slide the clamp and disconnect the air inlet line hose.

      2. A01X6HC

        Slide the 2 clamps and disconnect the vent line hose and purge line hose.

      3. A01X14J

        Remove the 3 bolts and charcoal canister assembly.

      4. Slide the clamp and remove the purge line hose from the charcoal canister assembly.

      5. Slide the clamp and remove the vent line hose from the charcoal canister assembly.

      6. Disconnect the fuel emission hose A from the 2 fuel hose clamps.

      7. Slide the clamp and remove the fuel emission hose A from the fuel emission hose sub-assembly.

      8. Slide the 2 clamps and remove the fuel emission hose B from the charcoal canister assembly and fuel emission hose sub-assembly.

      9. Slide the clamp and remove the fuel emission hose sub-assembly from the charcoal canister assembly.

      10. Remove the 2 fuel hose clamps from the charcoal canister assembly.
