DESCRIPTION

The radio receiver assembly and map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) are connected to each other using the microphone connection detection signal lines.

This DTC is stored when a microphone connection detection signal line is disconnected.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H164-19 (MIN-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY))


    1. Disconnect the H164 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the T6 map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H164-19 (MIN-) - T6-12 (MCO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H164-6 (SNS2) - T6-11 (SNS2) Always Below 1 Ω
      H164-19 (MIN-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H164-6 (SNS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  3. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY)

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.
