LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY(for Power Seat) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

   Note

   After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

2. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH

   Click here

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   CAUTION:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH

11. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

12. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

13. REMOVE REAR SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU LH

14. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY

15. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP LH

16. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK BASE LH

17. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY LH

    
    

    1. Remove the nut and detach the seatback cover bracket.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Detach the 8 hooks and remove the 19 hog rings and rear seatback spring assembly LH (lumbar support adjuster assembly LH) from the rear seatback cover with pad LH.
