POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR(for Front Door) REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

   Note

   After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work. Click here.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   CAUTION:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

3. REMOVE DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG

4. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL

   
   

   1. 

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 clips.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

   2. Disconnect the connector and remove the multiplex network master switch assembly.

5. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for RHD)

   
   

   1. 

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 clamps.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

   2. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the front power window regulator switch assembly.
