AIR CONDITIONING UNIT(for Rear Side) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  2. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER

  3. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  5. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the cover.

    2. A001EM7

      Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 O-rings from the 2 tubes.

  7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

  9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH

  11. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH

      Detach the 2 clips and remove the No. 1 cooler cover.

  15. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Spare Tire)

      Remove the clip.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the roof side No. 2 air duct LH.

  27. REMOVE ROOF SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT RH

      Remove the clip.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the roof side No. 2 air duct RH.

  28. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 AIR DUCT

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the rear No. 4 air duct.

  29. REMOVE REAR NO. 5 AIR DUCT

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the rear No. 5 air duct.

  30. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER AIR DUCT

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 cooler air duct.

  31. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLER AIR DUCT

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the No. 2 cooler air duct.

  32. REMOVE REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY


    1. A001ECO

      Disconnect the harness clamp and connector.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and rear cooling unit assembly.
