SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Spare Tire)

  5. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

  6. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  7. REMOVE ROPE HOOK

  8. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH

  9. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (w/o Rear Cooler)

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler)

  13. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

  14. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Spare Tire)

  15. REMOVE TOOL BOX (w/o Spare Tire)

  16. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

  17. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH

  18. REMOVE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and seat belt control ECU.
