RADIO ANTENNA CORD REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY


    1. for Sedan:

  4. REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)


    1. w/o Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.

      1. Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.

  5. REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (for Wagon)


    1. w/o Panorama Roof, w/o Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Remove all the tape and the antenna cord from the roof headlining.

  6. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the upper instrument panel sub-assembly Click here

  7. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. w/o Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Remove the bolt.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      3. Detach the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

      1. Remove the bolt.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      3. Detach the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. w/o Digital Audio Broadcasting:


      1. Remove the bolt.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      3. Detach the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.
