  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH (for 6 Speakers)

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKERPANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 6 Speakers)


    1. A004PUT

      Detach the claws and clips shown in the illustration on the bottom of the panel. Then, using the 2 claws on the side of the panel towards the front of the vehicle as pivot points, lift up the panel in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration until the speaker connector can be disconnected.

    2. A004QFG

      Disconnect the connector and remove the panel together with the speaker.

  5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 6 Speakers)

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the front No. 2 speaker from the speaker panel.

  6. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 10 Speakers)


    1. Remove the upper instrument panel Click here.

  7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 10 Speakers)

      Detach the clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and speaker.

      Note

      Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.
