AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM(for Radio and Display Type) Reverse Signal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The radio and display receiver assembly receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch assembly to use for adjusting the vehicle position on the multi-display.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK VEHICLE SIGNAL (OPERATION CHECK)


    1. A005787

      Enter the "Vehicle Signal Check Mode" screen. [Refer to Check Vehicle Signal Check Mode in Operation Check Click here]

    2. Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever position.

      Tech Tips

      This display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual shift lever position.

      Disconnect the radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the D124 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the B14 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for Automatic Transaxle
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D124-2 (REV) - B14-1 (RL) Always Below 1 Ω
      D124-2 (REV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      for CVT

      D124-2 (REV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Disconnect the B5 back-up light switch assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
