C1381 Acceleration Sensor Power Supply Voltage Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives a sensor supply voltage malfunction signal from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor).

C1381 Vehicle speed is 6 km/h (4 mph) or higher and yaw rate and acceleration sensor power supply malfunction signal is received for 1.1 seconds or more.

Note


  • When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor), perform acceleration sensor zero point calibration Click here.

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (IGA TERMINAL)

      (to Yaw Rate and Acceleration Sensor (Yaw Rate Sensor))

      Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.

    2. Disconnect the D69 yaw rate and acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) connector.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D69-1 (IGA) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GNDA TERMINAL)

      Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D69-4 (GNDA) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
