EXHAUST MANIFOLD INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A0161LJE01

      Install a new gasket.

    2. A0162ZJE01

      Install the exhaust manifold sub-assembly LH, and install 8 new nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }
  2. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR


    1. A0160TZE01

      Using SST, install the air fuel ratio sensor to the exhaust manifold LH.

      SST
      09224-00010
      Torque:
      without SST
      44 N*m  { 449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }
      with SST
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

      Note


      • The "with SST" torque value is effective when using SST with a fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.).

      • The "with SST" torque value is effective when using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 in.) Click here.

      • The "with SST" torque value is effective when SST is parallel to the torque wrench.

    2. Connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR


    1. A0162AM

      Install the No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }
    2. Connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

  4. INSTALL ENGINE MOUNTING DAMPER


    1. A0160RQ

      Install the engine mounting damper with the bolt.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }
  5. INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. A0161LJE01

      Install a new gasket.

    2. A0160GZE01

      Install the exhaust manifold sub-assembly RH, and install 8 new nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }
  6. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR


    1. A015Z1TE01

      Using SST, install the air fuel ratio sensor to the exhaust manifold RH.

      SST

      Torque:
      without SST
      44 N*m  { 449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }
      with SST
      40 N*m  { 408 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

      Note

    2. Connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

      Install the No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }
    2. Connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

  8. INSTALL OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01633M

      Apply engine oil to a new O-ring, and install it to the oil level dipstick guide sub-assembly.

    2. Install the oil level dipstick guide sub-assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }
  9. INSTALL OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the oil level dipstick sub-assembly.

  10. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSMISSION
