LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER OUTER SWITCH REMOVAL


  1. REPLACE PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH

      Remove the 6 clips and cowl top ventilator louver RH.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. A01GLUL

      Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment door assist grip.

  5. REMOVE DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the switch bezel.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  6. REMOVE SWITCH BEZEL

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the switch bezel.

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER LH

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the rear combination light service cover LH.

  9. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER RH

  10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER LH

      Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and luggage compartment door hinge cover LH.

  11. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  12. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER

      Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips.

    2. Detach the 10 clips and back door trim cover.

  13. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. w/o Rear Fog Light:


      1. Put protective tape around the rear light assembly LH.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      3. Remove the 2 nuts and 2 cap nuts and remove the rear light assembly LH.

    2. w/ Rear Fog Light:


      1. Put protective tape around the rear light assembly LH.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

      3. Remove the 2 nuts and 2 cap nuts and remove the rear light assembly LH.

  14. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

  15. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH

    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 3 luggage compartment door outside garnish.

  16. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 6 screws.

    2. Put protective tape around the luggage compartment door outside garnish.

    3. Detach the 4 clips and remove the luggage compartment door outside garnish.

  17. REMOVE LUGGAGE ELECTRICAL KEY SWITCH

      Disconnect the sub-wire harness connector.

    2. A01GL4K

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. A01GJPI

      Remove the 2 screws and television camera assembly from the luggage electrical key switch.
