BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER


    1. A01GM4S

      Remove the 6 clips and cowl top ventilator louver RH.

  2. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (for LHD)

      Remove the 5 clips and engine room side cover RH.

  5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (for RHD)


    1. A01GKBH

      Remove the 5 clips and engine room side cover LH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER UPPER PROTECTOR RH (for LHD)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER UPPER PROTECTOR LH (for RHD)

      Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clips and remove the fender protector upper.

  8. REMOVE BATTERY

  9. REMOVE GROUND WIRE (BATTERY CURRENT SENSOR)

      for LHD:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the bolt and disconnect the ground wire harness from the ground wire (battery current sensor).

      3. Remove the 2 bolts and ground wire (battery current sensor).

      for RHD:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Remove the bolt and disconnect the ground wire harness from the ground wire (battery current sensor).

      3. Remove the 2 bolts and ground wire (battery current sensor).
