DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU uses the front millimeter wave radar sensor, object recognition camera sensor and driver monitor camera to detect obstacles in front of the vehicle and the direction that the driver's head is facing.

Based on this information, the driving support ECU calculates the risk of a collision and operates the pre-collision system when it determines that the risk is high.

When DTC C1A01/11 is detected, the driving support ECU only detects the "Pre-crash 2" DTC malfunctions.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash2 /. Then select "Diagnostic Code".

    2. Select "Clear" and clear the data.

    3. Recheck for DTC.

      OK
      DTC C1A01 is not output.
