DTC Code DTC Name
B1449/49 Rear Air Outlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The rear outlet control servo motor sends pulse signals to indicate the damper position to the air conditioning amplifier. The air conditioning amplifier activates the motor (normal or reverse) based on these signals to move the rear outlet damper to the appropriate position, which controls the air outlet modes.

Tip:

Confirm that there are no mechanical problems because this DTC can be set if either a damper link or damper is mechanically locked.

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
B1449/49 Rear air outlet damper position does not change even if air conditioning amplifier operates rear air outlet damper control servo motor
  • Rear air outlet control servo motor

  • Rear air conditioning harness

  • Wire harness between rear air conditioning harness and air conditioning amplifier

  • Air conditioning amplifier
