VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM(for TMC Made), Diagnostic DTC:C1210, C1336

DTC Code DTC Name
C1210 Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate Sensor Undone
C1336 Zero Point Calibration of Acceleration Sensor Undone

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via the CAN communication system.

The yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) has a built in deceleration sensor and detects the vehicle's condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2). If there is trouble in the bus lines between the yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) and the CAN communication system, the DTCs U0124 (Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) are output.

The DTCs are also output when the calibration has not been completed.

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1210 Zero point calibration of yaw rate sensor undone.
  • Yaw rate sensor (Airbag sensor assembly)

  • Skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)

C1336 Zero point calibration of acceleration sensor undone.
  • Yaw rate sensor (Airbag sensor assembly)

  • Skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration Click here.

Tech Tips

When U0124 and/or U0126 is output along with C1210 and/or C1336, inspect and repair trouble areas indicated by U0124 and/or U0126 first Click here.

PROCEDURE

  1. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR

    1. Perform zero point calibration of the yaw rate and deceleration sensor Click here.
