DESCRIPTION

The headlight ECU sub-assembly sends control signals to the headlight leveling motor via LIN communication.

The headlight leveling motor operates according to the power supply and control signals from the headlight ECU sub-assembly and sends its operation status to the headlight ECU sub-assembly via LIN communication.

When there is a malfunction in the LIN communication, B2424 or B2425 is output.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait for at least 10 seconds or more.

    3. Check for DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > AFS > Trouble Codes
      OK
      DTC B2417 or B2418 is not output.
