Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing.
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
There is risk of injury.
Note
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)
Disconnect the 2 connectors.

Protective Tape |
Detach the wire harness clamp.
Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the connector.
Tech Tips
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
w/ Easy Access Buckle:
Remove the 2 nuts.

Pass the buckle of the front seat inner belt assembly LH through the hole of the separate type front seat cushion cover LH and remove the front seat inner belt assembly LH.
w/o Easy Access Buckle:
Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.
Remove the front seat belt anchor plate.

w/ Occupant Classification System:
Disconnect the 2 connectors.
