The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the rear power seat switch removal/installation are shown below.

    REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:
    B004UM0

    • Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    REMOVE REAR CENTER NO. 2 SEAT ARMREST PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Detach the clip and claw.

    2. While moving the rear center No. 2 seat armrest panel sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the guide to remove it.

      Remove the 4 screws and disconnect the rear power seat switch with bracket from the rear center seat armrest assembly.
