DESCRIPTION

Output to the front seat cushion heater temperature sensor stops if one of the following occurs: 1) the temperature sensor is open or shorted; or 2) the temperature sensor is damaged and its output value does not change.

    1. Clear the DTCs.

  3. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER RH


    1. Remove the separate type front seat cushion cover RH.

    2. Inspect the separate type front seat cushion cover RH.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER RH)


    1. Disconnect the G63 and G64 air conditioning amplifier assembly connectors.

    2. Disconnect the Q15 separate type front seat cushion cover RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G63-18 (TSR) - Q15-4 Always Below 1 Ω
      G63-18 (TSR) or Q15-4 - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G64-8 (SG-5) - Q15-5 Always Below 1 Ω
      G64-8 (SG-5) or Q15-5 - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
