DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and windshield wiper motor assembly communicate via LIN communication. The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stores this DTC if communication becomes abnormal.

    CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      1. Body Electrical > Main Body > Clear DTCs


    2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait for at least 10 seconds.

    3. Check for DTCs.

      1. Body Electrical > Main Body > Trouble Codes

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the A43 windshield wiper motor assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Table 1. for LHD
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      A43-6 (+B) - Body ground Approximately 60 seconds have elapsed after power switch is turned off Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG) or within approximately 60 seconds of power switch being turned off 11 to 14 V

      A43-7 (+B) - Body ground Approximately 60 seconds have elapsed after power switch is turned off Below 1 V

    1. Disconnect the G13 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    2. Disconnect the A43 windshield wiper motor assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    2. Disconnect the G12 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    3. Disconnect the A43 windshield wiper motor assembly connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
