POWER INTEGRATION SYSTEM PRECAUTION


  1. PRECAUTION FOR SEMICONDUCTOR POWER INTEGRATION ECU


    1. Do not remove or install the semiconductor power integration ECU with the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal connected.

      Note


      • After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

      • When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal while performing repairs, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    2. Make sure that the semiconductor power integration ECU is not exposed to water, as it is not waterproof.

    3. Some load is connected to a dedicated circuit to prevent overcurrent. Therefore, parts other than those specified for the vehicle may not be able to be used.

    4. When replacing the semiconductor power integration ECU, the system may not operate normally if the same part number is not used.

    5. Check that systems are operating normally before proceeding with troubleshooting.
