DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the No. 3 active noise control microphone system.

B1AAB1C Rear Center Microphone Circuit Circuit Voltage Out of Range When the stereo component equalizer assembly detects a No. 3 active noise control microphone connection malfunction for 4 seconds or more continuously 3 seconds after the engine switch is turned on (ACC)*
  • Harness or connector

  • No. 3 active noise control microphone

  • Stereo component equalizer assembly

Tip:

*: Malfunction monitoring is not performed during the following conditions to prevent erroneous detection.


  • The auxiliary battery voltage is less than 9.5 V.

  • Before 3 seconds have elapsed after auxiliary battery voltage has returned to normal.

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT EQUALIZER ASSEMBLY - NO. 3 ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL MICROPHONE)


    1. Disconnect the L7 stereo component equalizer assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the N19 No. 3 active noise control microphone connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L7-5 (MC3+) - N19-1 (MC3+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L7-19 (MC3-) - N19-2 (MC3-) Always Below 1 Ω
      L7-5 (MC3+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L7-19 (MC3-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
