DESCRIPTION

The multi-display controller sub-assembly and disc player assembly are connected by an AVC-LAN communication line.

When an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between multi-display controller sub-assembly and disc player assembly, these DTCs will be stored.

  • The television display assembly is not connected while the power switch is on (IG) or (ACC).

  • Communication between the controller sub-assembly and television display assembly is not possible when the power switch is on (READY).

    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Check that the connectors are properly connected to the multi-display controller sub-assembly and disc player assembly.

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISC PLAYER ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the L140 disc player assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      L140-13 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      L140-8 (+B) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      L140-7 (ACC) - Body ground Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V

    1. Disconnect the L137 multi-display controller sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the L140 disc player assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      L137-14 (TX3+) - L140-9 (TX+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L137-15 (TX3-) - L140-10 (TX-) Always Below 1 Ω
