STEERING CONTROL ECU INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FRONT STEERING CONTROL ECU

   
   

   1. Install the front steering control ECU with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the 4 connectors to the front steering control ECU.

   3. Return the floor carpet to its original position.

2. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR PAD PLATE

4. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

   Click here

7. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

10. PERFORM VARIABLE GEAR RATIO STEERING SYSTEM CALIBRATION
