VARIABLE GEAR RATIO STEERING SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:C15C6

DTC Code DTC Name
C15C6 IG Power Supply Voltage

DESCRIPTION

The VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) monitors the IG power supply voltage.

If the VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) detects a malfunction, it turns the master warning light on, and stores DTC C15C6.

C15C6 IG Power Supply Voltage

All conditions are met:

  • The power switch is on (IG).

  • When the IG voltage is below 4 V or higher than 18.5 V, an open or short in the IG circuit or an internal malfunction in the ECU is detected for approximately 3 seconds or more.

  • IG1 P NO.3 fuse

  • Auxiliary battery

  • Charging system

  • VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU)

  • Harness or connector

Comes on Power switch on (IG) again
