DESCRIPTION
DTC B2205 is output when the luggage closer motor assembly detects that the kick door control sensor is stuck on.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Before troubleshooting, make sure that the kick door control sensor is not damaged.
Before troubleshooting, be sure to read Precautions for Hands Free Power Trunk Lid.
If the luggage closer motor assembly has been removed and installed or replaced, or if any of the connectors has been disconnected, initialize the power trunk lid system.
After performing work, using the GTS, read the Data List item "Kick Sensor Connection" and check that the kick door control sensor is connected.
Check the entry and start system (for Entry Function) first before troubleshooting the power trunk lid system.

Clear the DTCs.
Check for DTCs.

Disconnect the O5 kick door control sensor connector.
Wait for approximately 60 seconds.
Clear the DTCs.
Check for DTCs.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR ASSEMBLY - KICK DOOR CONTROL SENSOR)
Disconnect the L10 luggage closer motor assembly connector.
Disconnect the O5 kick door control sensor connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
