  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS

    If there are any scratches or impact marks on the rear bumper, perform the blind spot monitor beam axis confirmation. If any abnormalities are found, perform the blind spot monitor sensor installation condition inspection.

  3. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE


    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

      Standard voltage
      11 to 14 V (Power switch off)

      If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

  4. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*


    1. Using the GTS, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  5. CHECK FOR DTCs (FRONT SIDE RADAR SYSTEM)*

    Refer to DTC Check / Clear.

    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.

      - Front side radar sensor RH:


      Body Electrical > Front Side Radar Master > Trouble Codes

      - Front side radar sensor LH:


      Body Electrical > Front Side Radar Slave > Trouble Codes

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      - Front side radar sensor RH:


      Body Electrical > Front Side Radar Master > Clear DTCs

      - Front side radar sensor LH:


      Body Electrical > Front Side Radar Slave > Clear DTCs

    3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to reproduce the DTCs by duplicating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.

      - Front side radar sensor RH:


      Body Electrical > Front Side Radar Master > Trouble Codes

      - Front side radar sensor LH:


      Body Electrical > Front Side Radar Slave > Trouble Codes
