  1. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD

  2. CUSTOMIZE POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative(-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative(-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:


    • Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative(-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  10. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY

    Note

    When detaching the claw, pull directly to the rear of the vehicle to avoid damaging the multi-display.


    1. Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Place your hands at the location indicated shown in the illustration, pull the multi-display toward the rear of the vehicle to detach the claw.

      Detach the wire harness clamp and disconnect the 5 connectors.
