The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the tire pressure warning receiver removal/installation are shown below.

  • When DTC detection conditions of "transmitter ID not received" DTC are met, TPWS indicator blinks for 1 minute, and then illuminates.

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Note


    • Do not drop the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, strike it with tools or subject it to impact.

    • If the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver is subjected to an impact, replace it with a new one.

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Detach the 2 guides and tire pressure warning ECU and receiver.

    3. Disconnect the connector.
