RADIO ANTENNA CORD REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the radio antenna cord removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    • Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

      Click here

    • f the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Detach the clamps and claws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BOX

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT

      Detach the clips and remove the No. 2 hybrid battery intake duct.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts.

    3. Detach the clamps and remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      2. Detach the clamps and remove the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting Antenna:


      1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

      2. Remove the bolt.

      3. Detach the clamps and remove the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.

  15. REMOVE NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Detach the clamps and remove the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly.
