DESCRIPTION

If the forward recognition camera detects a malfunction in the internal circuit of the driving support ECU assembly, DTC C1A01 is stored.

C1A01 Driving Support ECU 2 seconds after the engine switch is turned on (IG), a malfunction in the driving support ECU assembly internal circuit is detected for 5 seconds or more.

Note


  • When replacing the forward recognition camera, always replace it with a new one. If a forward recognition camera which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the forward recognition camera will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.

  • If the forward recognition camera has been replaced with a new one, be sure to perform Forward Recognition Camera Learning.

  • When replacing the driving support ECU assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a driving support ECU assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the driving support ECU assembly will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.

  • The LKA/LDA system uses the CAN communication system. First, confirm that there are no malfunction in the CAN communication system. Refer to How to Proceed with Troubleshooting.

  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Pre-Collision 2 > Trouble Codes

      Tech Tips

      When the LKA/LDA system outputs DTC C1A01, the pre-collision system may also output DTC C1A01. If DTC C1A01 is output, perform diagnosis for the pre-collision system first.

    2. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
