DESCRIPTION

The ECM receives signals from the skid control ECU assembly via CAN communication.

U0122 Lost Communication with Vehicle Dynamics Control Module When vehicle speed is 40 km/h (25 mph) or more and the cruise control system is operating, a communication error between the skid control ECU assembly and the ECM is detected for approximately 2.5 seconds or more.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Powertrain > Cruise Control > Clear DTCs

    2. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

    3. Check for DTCs.
