PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the O149 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the O67 radio setting condenser connector.

    3. Disconnect the R14 and S14 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.

    4. Disconnect the O54 and O55 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.

    5. Disconnect the T25 and U35 rear speaker assembly connectors.

    6. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O149-1 (FR+) or R14-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O149-6 (FR-) or R14-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O149-2 (FL+) or S14-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O149-7 (FL-) or S14-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O149-4 (RR+) or T25-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O149-9 (RR-) or T25-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O149-3 (RL+) or U35-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O149-8 (RL-) or U35-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Remove the front No. 2 speaker assembly.

  4. INSPECT REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the rear speaker assembly.

  5. REPLACE RADIO SETTING CONDENSER


    1. Replace the radio setting condencer with a new or known good one.

    2. Clear the DTCs.


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs
    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes

      No DTCs are output.
