  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG

  5. REMOVE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Driver Side)

  6. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Front Passenger Side)

  7. REMOVE DOOR TRIM COVER

  8. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR NO. 1 STIFFENER CUSHION

  10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR PROTECTOR

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. B004E69N01

      Remove the screw.

    4. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the outer mirror protector.

      Tech Tips

      Disengage the claws in the order shown in the illustration.

  12. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR INSTALL HOLE COVER

      Remove the outer mirror install hole cover.

  13. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts.

    3. B004GOI

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides to remove the outer rear view mirror assembly.
