DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH detects a malfunction in the rear height control sensor sub-assembly RH power source circuit or rear height control sensor sub-assembly RH circuit. The headlight ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTC B2416 and/or B241A.

  • Before performing this inspection, check that the rear height control sensor sub-assembly RH is installed correctly.

  • If the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. for Single Beam Headlight:


      1. Clear the DTCs.

    2. for Triple Beam Headlight:


      1. Clear the DTCs.

        Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. for Single Beam Headlight:


      1. Check for DTCs.

  3. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. for Single Beam Headlight:


      1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      3. Turn the GTS on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Data List.

      5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      3. Turn the GTS on.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH - REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH)


    1. Disconnect the A49 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the T3 rear height control sensor sub-assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
