The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during front seat cushion heater removal/installation are shown below.

  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  2. DISCONNECT FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Standard Seat Type)

  4. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Standard Seat Type)

  5. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Sports Seat Type)

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 4 clamps.

    3. for Front Passenger Side without Occupant Classification System:

        Disconnect the connector.

        Disengage the claw to separate the connector.

    4. w/o Variable Seat Cushion System:


      1. Disengage the 10 hooks to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

        Disengage the 2 fasteners.

      2. B005OQS

        Disengage the 4 hooks.

        Remove the 4 hog rings.

      4. Disengage the 7 hooks to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER) (for Standard Seat Type)

    Tech Tips

    The front seat cushion heater cannot be removed from the separate type front seat cushion cover as they are a unit.

      w/o Variable Seat Cushion System:


      1. Remove the 6 hog rings.

      w/ Variable Seat Cushion System:


      1. Remove the 2 hog rings.

      Remove the 18 hog rings and front seat cushion heater (separate type front seat cushion cover) from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER) (for Sports Seat Type)

    Tech Tips

    The front seat cushion heater cannot be removed from the front seat cushion pad with cover as they are a unit.
